Things I Wish I Didn't Have

Hi guys! How is your week going? It's finals week, if you don't already know. Which means lots of tests and lots of studying! Plus the science fair. And the end of the quarter. And ski races. And missing Thursday for the science fair. So you get it: my week is very stressful and busy. Can anybody else relate?

So this week's post is about things I wish I didn't have. I just made this up on the spot (I'm in English and want to start my post now), so don't judge. DON'T JUDGE. UNNECESSARY CAPITALIZATION!! Sorry, I'm just being weird right now. I apologize.

So...

Things I Wish I Didn't Have

1. That One Gene...
According to my parents, I've inherited this one gene that makes it so that I have a difficult time talking, and may seem shy. This gene really sucks. Talking comes naturally to some people, and they  make friends easily. Not me. I can never think of anything good or "cool" to say, and when I do it's usually something smart or helpful that came from something I read or learned somewhere. Thank you parents, for giving me this stupid gene.

Yep, I'm shy, but not by choice! (by Forbes)
2. That Other Gene...
I've also inherited a gene that makes me want to always do my best (particularly in school). I HAVE to get an A on everything, or else. This is usually a good thing, but can sometimes be annoying because it would be nice to have a normal life like most people and not be focused on school all the time.

3. To go to a school that looks like a prison...
We all know that Treasure Mountain Junior High looks like a prison. It's really old, the hallways are tight, and, since it's a JUNIOR high school, we still don't get the independence that the high school does. Last time we went to an assembly (we had to walk to the high school), I noticed that we needed a faculty "escort" at the front and back of the crowd to make sure nobody went off and did forbidden things like go to Starbucks.

4. The Catching Fire Movie
Actually this is a good thing. My dad bought Catching Fire at the end of last weekend, and I've been dying all week, excited to finally have the time to watch it this weekend! So while you guys are all hanging out with friends and doing normal teenage stuff, I'll be sitting in bed staring at a screen with a look of sheer excitement on my face.

5. Finals Week
Yay I'm 80% done with tests as of now!! The nights of staying up late and cramming information into my brain for three hours is almost over!!

6. Four more weeks until spring break...
FOUR MORE WEEKS!!! I'm so excited!!!! But it's getting annoying because literally everything I see, hear, feel, or say reminds me of spring break. You could bring up something completely random to me, such as the fact that the world is round, and I would still somehow connect it to spring break.

So those are some things that I wish I didn't have! Can anyone relate? (OMG I just realized that I put this same phrase at the beginning of this post!!!)

Random Fact of the Day: Almost every website featuring random facts is blocked on this computer because they are classified as forums/blogs. WHY MUST I BE PREVENTED FROM FINDING RANDOM FACTS?!?! Sorry if I'm being weird again.

What is today?? Chocolate Caramel Day :)

And that's it, so bye!!! Have a good weekend!!!

PPS: What does PS even stand for? Should I know this??
